"Magic realism" is the word that comes to mind with your stories, Princess. Baby swings and children with transformative powers....a day in the park that goes magically awry...I love it. (The subtext of many of your stories implies a belief in the weird and wonderful lurking underneath a rock or just around a corner...or, in the words of my hero Warren Ellis: "The world is a strange place; let's keep it that way.")
Whee! :)
ReplyDeleteThat was well done, and I think that I may have had my bracers put on as a teenager across the road from that park...
ReplyDeleteId like to see this story continued.
