The Halloween Collection

Hello again, everybody!

The second volume of my short story ebook collection, The Halloween Collection, is now available

Like I mentioned before, I did some adaptations of caption stories exclusive to this collection. Counting the one I posted here, there are five total: Seeing Double, Costumes, Baby Fat, The Nice Girl, and The Props Make the Costume. All of them are expanded from the original story, including new scenes and dialogue. All in all, there are 11 stories total in this collection, for $2.99. The link currently goes to Lulu, but it should be available on Amazon shortly as well, for those that prefer them.

Thanks for everything! Hopefully I'll get a couple Halloween captions done, but if not, Happy Halloween, everyone!

Edit: Now available on Amazon! According to them, it's 234 pages, more than 50 pages longer than my first collection, for the same low price!

  1. You got your popularity from posting FREE captions here. Now you want to change the format and start charging people to view them. It's not going to work.

    1. Yeah heaven forbid somebody try to get some slight compensation for their hard work.....(really need a sarcasam font)

I would be careful that this doesnt voilate those new terms and conditions or whatever they're using to shut down accounts. I would hate to lose the site. Probably buying when it gets to amazon.

    2. Lol, some of you people are so insanely ungrateful.

    3. The guy was just making a point. Then yawl starting attacking him calling him ungrateful. What a joke.

    4. First off, his point was entirely incorrect. She literally says that she hopes to get some Halloween captions done. If she does, they will be posted here, for free, as they always have been.

Most of the stories in the collection can already be found here. The others are slightly extended versions of existing captions. You're really not missing out on anything if you choose not to purchase it.

Pottypants has provided amazing material for YEARS for absolutely free, and someone wants to complain when she tries to make some money off of stuff THEY HAVE ALREADY READ. It wouldn't begrudge her selling completely new material, but at least in the case, someone complaining about having to pay for it would have a valid point to make. (A stupid point, but a valid one just the same.)

This is the equivalent of having a friend who's an amazing cook and makes you meal all the time, then getting mad when they try to open a restaurant because you think everyone should get to eat the meals for free.

    5. My earlier post didn't stick... but what about a story or cap where a certain princess gets in trouble for charging for content and gets punished. And in the irony her punishment video/pics is sold by her punisher.

      Keep doin what you're doin

  3. $2.99 is EXTREMELY cheap. It is half to a third of what most people charge for material. I am glad it is on Lulu as I prefer that over Amazon.

I just wish there was a Preview button like with most Lulu stories. But, I know I will be buying it for the name alone and the price is completely worth it!

  5. I agree it should be done for fun, not money though.

    1. That's like saying someone that plays music on street corners should only play because they find it fun. If they can make a few bucks on the side in tips, why not? She never, NEVER, said she was going to stop making captions. This is simply like a tip. You've seen most of her Halloween works. Heck, most of them are listed under the Halloween tab. This is an ENTIRELY optional purchase you can choose to make.

  6. I gave flack for selling the stories untouched but this is a good format. Adding new content or remastering (didn't consider that myself. Good play) old ones. I don't know that I can buy them yet (I want em all) but I am setting aside money (poor college kid. Cut me a break) for you.

  7. Why not consider a donate button on this site? It may be against the TOS, but it's definitely worth looking into. I definitely plan on buying the collection, regardless!

    1. I did think about that, once upon a time, but I didn't feel right asking for money and giving people nothing in return. At least this way, they can have a nice, collected ebook of stories for discreet enjoyment.

I think a LOT of people would give you SOMETHING for all of the captions you've delivered in the past, especially if it means you're able to write more [frequently]! Or, a "pay as much as you can afford" thing for those stories. You are right though about the advantage of a PDF.
